Air Cleaners vs. Air Purifiers: What is the difference?
Air cleaners and air purifiers are both devices used to improve indoor air quality. They both aim to enhance the air we breathe, and there are no well-defined differences between the two. Mostly the difference lies in how various companies want to market their products.
In Longhi Air we call our products Air Cleaners as opposed to Air Purifiers to try to differentiate between the professional high quality products we produce and the often lower quality products you buy as an air purifier – but in reality they aim to solve the same problems.
Longhi Air only use mechanical filtration (HEPA and Activated Carbon) to avoid potential side effect where e.g. ozone is produced by some air purifiers.
Our indoor air cleaner Pro Series includes 2 models which are both portable air cleaners. For more information please visit our web site at longhi-air.com
